Gracia: I had heard about Krav Maga before but hadn't found a trainingplace in Holland yet, until 2002 when I got a flyer from my Tae Bo instructor at that time. Together with my brother I did a try-out with Franklyn Hartkamp and we definitely had the "wauw" factor. I was sold!! A few months later Eyal Yanilov gave his first ever seminar in the Hague and I fell in love with the system called Krav Maga.
The rest is history and as one of the first female krav maga students in Holland I trained for several years with Franklyn, before I took part in the Civil Instructor Course in 2007.

My love for krav maga has only grown over the years. Recently, I reached the level of Krav Maga Expert and I am one of the worlds highest level female Krav Maga instructors. I am also a certified, Womans Instructor, a Kids and Youth instructor and the first female Combat and Fighting instructor. To keep my skills up I spends all my spare time traveling around the world joining seminars, camps and courses.

As an instructor I  dedicate myself promoting and making krav maga more accesible for women, simply because of my believe in the system and what it can mean for a woman.
